This month’s presentation features Terry Kreig, author of ‘Walking with Warren’. Terry will cover the many walks that he did with former club patron, the Late Warren Bonython, over nearly 40 years in the Flinders and Willouran Ranges and in the arid country further north. Among them will be their walk around Lake Eyre and a five day Simpson Desert walk to ‘fill the gap’ in Warren’s extensive outback walking and in which they set off carrying all of the water needed for the trip. What was Warren really like as someone to walk with? We’ll find out tonight from the only person who walked extensively with him.
