Buller Huts Trail

The Buller Huts Trail is a 96km, 5500M ascent/descent, 7day, loop walk from Mt Buller Resort and incorporates a small section of the Australian Alps Walking Trail. http://www.bullerhutstrail.com.au/portfolio-items/itinerary/ . The Grampians – Mt Rosea Circuit.

This walk has been done as a 2.5 day walk as part of an ABW LWE bus trip to the Grampians and based at Borough Huts. It mostly follows now disused tracks which have become overgrown in recent years and can be difficult and slow in places.

Southern Grampians Mt N.M.Gadjin

2.5 day walk (long weekend), starting from Borough Huts campground. Climbing Mt Ngarra Mananinja Gadjin (droping packs), then down Bovine Ck. Visit to Glenbower falls on last morning.

Mawson Plateau – From the North

This describes a multiday walk in Mawson Plateau approaching the Plateau from the North via Mt Freeling Station and Mt Fitton Station ruin. Once on the Plateau a choice can be made between one or more base camps and day walks to explore the area.

Note: an alternative route onto the Southern Plateau is via Paralana Hot Springs. Not described here.
