Meetings
Adelaide Bushwalkers hold regular meetings to discuss upcoming activities. The meetings are held at 7:30pm on the 1st Wednesday of the month, in the hall at the North Adelaide Community Centre, 176 Tynte Street, North Adelaide (access via walk laneway to the left of main building).
The meetings include a session with walk leaders discussing upcoming walks. A short break follows this session to allow people to meet with a walk leader to further discuss their participation in the walk.
A meeting is held on the first Wednesday of the month, usually with a guest speaker giving presentations of interest to hikers, including trip reports from club members, environmental guest speakers and product showcases.
All members are encouraged to attend club meetings to share information about upcoming walks, gear hire, meet leaders, ask questions, sign up for walks and organise transport. The hall opens at 7.15 pm and the meeting begins at 7.30 pm.
The Membership Secretary is available during the meeting to explain how the club works to people attending for the first time, and can answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, email gohiking@adelaidebushwalkers.org.
The meetings include a session that describes upcoming walks. A short break follows this session to allow people to meet with a walk leader to further discuss their participation in the walk.
Members and friends are welcome to join others to share a meal beforehand from 6.00pm at the nearby Wellington Hotel (36 Wellington Square), and afterward for a drink at the same pub.
